Cloud Security Expert
Position Overview:
Ayottaz is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security Expert to join our team on a contract basis and collaborate closely with one of our esteemed clients. As a Cloud Security Expert, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures in cloud environments. Your expertise in cloud security will be instrumental in identifying vulnerabilities, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand the client's cloud security needs and objectives.
Develop and implement cloud security strategies and best practices.
Conduct security assessments and risk analysis of cloud environments.
Design and configure security controls for cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Monitor cloud infrastructure for security incidents and anomalies.
Implement identity and access management (IAM) policies and controls.
Manage encryption protocols and key management in the cloud.
Stay updated on emerging cloud security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends.
Ensure compliance with relevant cloud security standards and regulations.
Provide technical guidance and support to the client's IT and cloud teams.
Collaborate with third-party vendors and cloud service providers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Proven experience as a Cloud Security Expert or a similar role.
Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, practices, and technologies.
Familiarity with cloud security frameworks and standards (e.g., CSA, CIS, NIST).
Experience with cloud-native security tools and services.
Proficiency in cloud security assessment and auditing.
Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CCSP, AWS Certified Security - Specialty, Azure Security Engineer) are a plus.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
Project management skills are an advantage.
